Ms. Sullivan acquired a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Francisco State University in 1983. She then served as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Job Placement Specialist and as a Psychotherapist for the Santa Clara County Department of Mental Health
Since 1993, she has worked as a Rehabilitation Counselor and Consultant at SimonGroupConsultingin Los Gatos, California. She has been directly responsible for completing vocational assessments of hundreds of individuals presenting with a variety of neurological, orthopedic, and psychiatric issues. This has involved occupational research, job placement, and vocational plan development. Finally, she has worked onsite for seven years as a Vocational Counselor at a Functional Restoration Program dedicated to patients in chronic pain.
Overall, she has an excellent knowledge of the California labor market and occupational databases statewide. She has performed vocational testing of thousands of individuals presenting with a myriad of labor disabling conditions.
